Chernobyl (Ukrainian: Чорнобиль (Chornobyl), Russian: Чернобыль) is an abandoned city in northern Ukraine, in the Kiev Oblast (province) near the border with Belarus.

The city was abandoned in 1986 due to the Chernobyl disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which is located 14.5 kilometers (9 miles) north-northwest.

The Chernobyl disaster was a major accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant on April 26, 1986 at 01:23 a.m. The power plant is located near Pripyat, Ukraine. An explosion at the plant was followed by radioactive contamination of the surrounding geographic area.

    ooo… nu, din fercire nu am fost si din pacate inca nu am ajuns !!! Probabil ca o sa ajung, mi’ar place. Poate peste 1..2 ani, cand sper sa plec intr’o excursie mai lunga, sa vad cati dornici o sa gasesc.

    Apropo pozele sunt prelucrate toate in photoimpact, majoritatea dintre ele erau extrem de proaste calitativ, am incercat sa le mai dau putina viata :)

    Daca nu sunt facute de tine, poate ar fi bine sa specifici clar lucrul asta.

    Oricum, iti multumesc mult pentru poze! Eu sunt in curs de a planifica o calatorie cu transsiberianul (Moskova – Beijing) pentru august anul acesta, si acum ca am vazut pozele astea si am citit mai multe despre Cernobal si Pripiat ma gandesc serios sa fac o mica oprire si in Kiev… (nu sunt decat vreo 100km de acolo). :)

    e clar ca nu sunt facute de mine , de ex: cele care arata reactorul la cateva zile ;) eram copil mic, in generala la vremurile alea.
    Sursa originala a pozelor din pacate nu o stiu insa las mai jos alte cateva linkuri cu mult mai multe fotografii, eu doar al luat cateva la intamplare.

    A fost un accident major in Centrala Atmosferica Cernobil,Acest dezastru este considerat ca fiind cel mai grav accident din istoria energiei nucleare.Atunci au fost evacuati circa 336000 de persoane.
